Courtney Thompson took out the High Achievement Award for Business Certificate III and Natalie Hooper won the Business Certificate III category and the top prize of Trainee of the Year for the Western Sydney region.
Natalie now moves into the NSW state finals where she will compete against other regional finalists to become the NSW Trainee of the year, and the opportunity to represent NSW at a national level.
Around 40,000 people undertook a traineeship or apprenticeship in NSW in 2007, with a vast number of these in the Western Sydney area. It’s also unique for more than one trainee from the same employer to be nominated.
“These statistics highlight the excellent calibre of our colleagues and the work they put into completing their traineeship,” said Director Personal Finance Steve Dyson.
“We are incredibly proud of all of our trainees and their accomplishments over the past 12 months, and these achievements in particular have provided both young ladies with a solid foundation to develop successful careers within the Group.
“The high calibre of staff that continues to come through the Traineeship program is a tribute to all involved. Congratulations.”
