 Personal Finance - Division - "Community Training Initiative"February 2009
Recently Capital Finance delivered a Leadership Course to students from Crestwood High School, Baulkham Hills. This program was focused on the development of the Senior Student Leadership Team and consisted of 2 days of intensive training delivered by members of the Personal Finance Division LT&D services team. The course was run over 2 days full days and consisted of:
The two days of training were designed around the needs of the senior students, in preparation for their HSC year. Taken into consideration when designing the program were the responsibilities they hold in relation to being School Student Leaders, and the tasks & projects that they are engaged within at the school. The feedback from the students, teachers and parents....has been excellent.........typical comments were.... "the students have not stopped talking about the program & subjects covered". "When can we come back for more...and what else can we do?"........... "Thank you for the time & effort you have given my daughter". Mike Begg National Manager LT&D Services, comments: "Our objective in providing this program was based on two main drivers - What the student’s need, so they can be prepared for such a hard & demanding year and what they will need as they transition from school into the world of Uni study or straight into the work place." I hope this small but valuable program will provide to these future leaders of industry a good insight to what Leadership & Management is like in the real world". LT&D Services & our HR Business Partner, Tim Fergusson will be continuing to partner with Crestwood HS and look to further enhance the relationship throughout 2009. |
